Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau) : Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal’s spouse Susheela Devi passes away at a private hospital here last night, succumbing to Covid-19.
The Governor, wife Susheela and four other family members had tested positive for Covid-19 on November 1 and were being treated at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief over the demise of Odisha’s first lady. Describing her as a very warm and pious person, Patnaik conveyed his sympathy to the Governor and other members of the bereaved family.
He has tweeted,” Deeply saddened to learn about passing away of First Lady of the State, Smt Susheela Devi. She was a very warm and pious person. Convey my deep sympathy to Hon’ble Gov of Odisha Prof Ganeshi Lal ji and family members. May her soul rest in peace.”
