Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Odisha’s famed actor and play director Jimutbahan Patnaik passed away at an age of 63 succumbing to Covid-19.
He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital after testing positive for Covid-19.
According to reports, the actor experienced illness during the shooting of a TV serial, after which he was taken for Covid test.
Patnaik was an emeritus employee of the Odisha Police Housing Board. He had gained popularity in numerous mega TV serials.
He has left behind his wife and two daughters.
