Rourkela(SunstarTV Bureau): A team of the Airport Authority of India (AAI) visited the Rourkela airport for an inspection, today.
Rourkela’s airport is all set to start commercial flight services soon.
The two-member team, along with senior officials of few private air carriers inspected the infrastructure and other services of the airport. The airport is run by Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) having a fuel center and VIP guest house.
Sundargarh Collector Nikhil Pawan Kalyan, Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) Commissioner Dibyajyoti Parida, MP Jual Oram and senior officials of RSP accompanied the AAI team in the inspection.
Rourkela was included in phase-4 of the auction process under ‘the Udey Desh Ka Aam Nagarik (UDAN) scheme’.
