Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): With the onset of winter, minimum temperature continued to hurtle down in Odisha with a record temperature below 15°C in 11 places in the State for the second consecutive day informed the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) in Bhubaneswar.

Sonepur witnessed the lowest temperature of 9.6°C, making it the coldest town of the State, said RMC.

Followed by Sonepur, Phulbani and Daringbadi in Kandhamal district registered temperatures of 10.5°C and 10.5°C respectively. Angul registered 11.0°C, Koraput 11.6°C, Bhawanipatna 12.2°C, Jharsuguda 13.0°C, Kendujhar 13.8°C degree, Baripada 14.2°C degree, Bolangir 14.6°C and Sambalpur 14.7°C.
Whereas, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack experienced fall of temperature to 18.0°C and 16.8°C respectively in the last 24 hours.
