Due to the scenic beauty of the place, it caught sight of a huge number of people and declared it as a tourist place. This place may give you a clam and an eye-catching ambience. The reasons behind the prohibition to such a charismatic place is a major concern for travel enthusiasts. The outer location, abandoned mine site and lots of unwanted criminal activities remain at the top of the list for banning public to Tapang. But the pivotal reason that led to shutting down of the place was underground dynamites which can explode at any point of the time.
The district administration informed visitors to stay away from the spot and if someone were found at the prohibited area then strict actions will be taken.
