Mumbai: Singer Kumar Sanu has apologised on behalf of his son Jaan, who is a current contestant of Bigg Boss 14 for making illicit remarks against the Marathi language.
After the recent fiasco over Jaan’s statement in Bigg Boss house, his father and Kumar Sanu has apologised on his behalf. In a video, Kumar Sanu shared that he has learnt that Jaan had made some objectionable statements in the house and he wants to apologise on his behalf.
For the uninitiated, Jaan had told Nikki Tamboli to not speak in Marathi with fellow contestant Rahul Vaidya and said “mereko chid hoti hai (it irks me)”. This remark rubbed many the wrong way. MNS leader Ameya Khopkar had demanded an immediate apology.
This outraged anger amongst Marathi people and hurt the sentiment of the whole nation. Even Jaan was called to the confession room of the Bigg Boss house to apologise.
