Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): University Grants Commission (UGC) announced about the scholarship for the Indian students to undertake Diploma, Undergraduate, Master’s degree courses under Brunei Darussalam Scholarship for 2021-22 academic session.
The circular issued by UGC, where interested applicants can submit application forms along with required documents by online directly to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Brunei Darussalam. Meanwhile, the last date for applying is scheduled till February 15, 2021.
According to official report, the academic year commences July/August 2021. Applications are open to citizens of, but not limited to, ASEAN, Commonwealth and OIC member countries.
As per application’s criteria, in between the ages of 18-25 for Undergraduate and Diploma programmes and must not exceed the age of 35 for Postgraduate Master’s Degree programmes on the 31st July 2021.
In its circular, UGC has clarified that there is no financial liability on the part of the Commission for this programme.
The British Council is also offering scholarships in partnership with UK Universities aimed at benefitting women from South Asian countries including India.
A wide range of programs in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subjects are being offered by eight UK Universities to women from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Afghanistan.
