Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): For the first time in 6 months, Odisha has reported with no new Covid-19 death cases on Wednesday.
The good news comes with the reported Covid 19 cases are decreasing gradually for past couple of weeks. However, in the last 24 hours 231 more Covid-19 positive cases were filed thereby taking the total number of cases to 3,30,921 in Odisha today.
Of these fresh cases, 133 cases were detected from among quarantined people and the rest 98 found as local contacts.
According to the Information and Public Relations Department statement, the new cases were detected from 28 districts of the state.
Among the districts, with 32 new cases Sundergarh remained at the top followed by Bargarh (25), Angul (21), Jharsuguda (15) and Sambalpur (14).
Besides, 3 cases were reported from the State pool.
271 Corona patients were also recovered in the State today.
