SunstarTV Bureau: Four health centers in Kandhamal district have received the Indian Standard Organisation (ISO) 9001:2015 certificate for quality management system, on 26th December, 2020.
Three community health centers and one primary health centre (CHC G.Udayagiri. CHC Phiringia, CHC Tikabali & PHC Gochhapada) got the ISO 9001-2015 certification for quality management system (QMS) in providing OPD, IPD, Emergency Services, Diagnosis Services under NIDAN Progarmme, Free Distribution of Drugs Under NIRAMAYA and Family Planning.

The services also included Maternal & Child Health Services, Immunization Services, Disease Control Programme Services, Counseling Services, Non-Communicable Disease Services.
Earlier, Kandhamal district had taken initiative under the surveillance of the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to donate plasma from the Covid-19 recovered patients. Where, Mr.Prabin ku Banuat, BDO of Raikia district had donated plasma and joined the united global efforts in the fight against Covid-19.
