Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): One UK returnee man from Bhubaneswar has been identified with the new coronavirus strain, in the state today.
According to official reports, he had returned from UK on 18 December. The infected person is being treated in a quarantine center, here in Bhubaneswar.
The government is trying to trace the people who have come in contact of the infected person in the last few days.
The new coronavirus strain was first identified in UK and now has spread to US and India. Yesterday, in Delhi airport five persons have been tested with the new variant coronavirus.
The world was just recovering from the pandemic, when the new strain (N501Y) is creating havoc in the globe again.
