Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Odisha Governor and Chancellor of Universities, Professor Ganeshi Lal appointed Vice Chancellors (VC) of six varsities of the State.
Prof. Aparajita Chowdhury is appointed as the VC of Rama Devi Women’s University, Prof. Sabita Acharya as VC of Utkal University, Prof. Dinabandhu Sahoo for Fakir Mohan University, Prof. N Nagaraju for Gangadhar Meher University, Prof. Kishore Kumar Basa for North Odisha University and Prof. Prafulla Kumar Mohanty as Vice Chancellor of Khallikote University.
In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub Section (1) read with Sub-Section (7) of Section 6 of Odisha Universities (Amendment) Act, 2020. Chancellor appointed the Vice Chancellors for a period of four years with effect from the date they assume office until further orders, whichever is earlier.
