SunstarTV Bureau: Parts of Odisha are to experience mild rainfall and thunderstorm due to formation of low pressure over Bay of Bengal, informed Regional Meterological Department (RMD).

As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), the low pressure area has formed over Equatorial Indian Ocean and neighbouring central parts of South Bay of Bengal due to a cyclonic circulation over the region.
“It is very likely to move west-north-westwards towards Sri Lanka, south Tamil Nadu coast and reach near Tamil Nadu & Puducherry coast on November 25,” said the IMD bulletin.

An associated cyclonic circulation extends up-to mid tropospheric level and the system is likely to concentrate into a depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal during the next 48 hours and intensify further during subsequent 48 hours.
