Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): KIIT University, has won the ‘Times Higher Education Awards Asia 2020’ under ‘workplace of the year’ category.
Along with the ‘Best Researcher Award’ for its significant contribution and achievement in Innovative Research, it has added another feather to its cap.
Bringing much happiness to the entire staff and student community of the University, KIIT’s Computer Science Faculty has been ranked in the band of 501-600 by ‘The Times Higher Education World University Rankings’ for 2021.
Officials of the university said, “KIIT is the only institute in India to get such a prestigious awards. It got the recognition for its unstinting commitment to its staff and student.”
KIIT is just 23 years old as an institution for professional education (started in 1997) and 16 years old as a University (declared in 2004). But, despite being a very young university, it has secured impressive positions in various global university rankings benchmark as well as ‘Institution of Eminence’ recognition.
Achyuta Samanta, founder of the University stated, “It is our constant venture to be the best, and we work continuously to achieve it through innovation, best practices and non negotiable commitment to research.
