Tonnes of well-wishes are pouring by diligent inside and outside of Odisha including our country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi who pondered his warm wishes too.

Besides, he is widely projected as pro poor as well as a clean and an honest person who did not hesitate to sack many political heavyweights on charges of corruption.

A healthy diet plan:
A healthy meal always leads towards a healthy and fit day. As being health conscious, the longest serving chief minister of Odisha also planned and maintaining a balanced meal. His morning drink is just plain, simple papaya juice and later the other lunch, suppers are too timely adjusted. His favourite ladyfinger stuffed with spices alias Bharwan Bhindi, and stir-fried chicken in white sauce.
No phone:
In an age where they even have a name for the phobia of being out of mobile phone contact (Namophobia), Naveen does not even own one. Shocked! May be that explains his late foray into social media.
Comfort Zone:
No body have ever seen Naveen Patnaik in any other attire, except for the white kurta and pyjamas he wears. In the privacy of his home as well, he has a kind of a dress code: checked-patterned lungi with a round or V-necked T-shirt. As for slippers, he is a Paragon slipper loyalist and would not wear slippers of any other brand.

Mystery!:
Naveen Patnaik in another life was the proud co-owner of an apparel boutique named Psychedelhi in the Oberoi Hotel in New Delhi. In fact, his client list included the very famous English rock band The Beatles. His boutique also supplied apparel to outlets in London.
