SunstarTV Bureau: Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday held a press conference at the Congress headquarters in Delhi after the Uttar Pradesh government denied permission to a five member delegation of the party led by Rahul Gandhi to visit Lakhimpur Kheri district.
Meanwhile, he alleged BJP government over the Lakhimpur Kheri incident and said that the farmers are under attack in Modi regime.
By slamming PM Narendra Modi by not visiting the site of violence in Lakhimpur Kheri where 8 people including 4 farmers died on Sunday Rahul said, “Yesterday PM Modi visited Lucknow but didn’t visit Lakhimpur Kheri. It’s a systematic attack on farmers.”
“Farmers are being mowed down by a jeep, they are being murdered the name of a Union minister and his son is coming up in the incident,” said the Congress leader.
“I want to know the ground reality, that is why we want to visit Lucknow,” the Congress leader said during the press conference.
