SunstarTV Bureau: The much-awaited cabinet of the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh has expanded. Just six months before the assembly elections, a total of seven Yogi government legislators were sworn in as ministers on Sunday evening. During the Modi government’s cabinet reshuffle last month, four Uttar Pradesh MPs were given ministerial posts.
Coincidentally, in the Modi government, one Brahmin from Uttar Pradesh and four OBCs from other categories were made ministers, while one of the nine new ministers who joined the Yogi cabinet was a Brahmin and four from the OBCs and others. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel administered the oath of office and secrecy to four ministers.

Most importantly, Heavyweight Leader Jitin Prasad, who left the Congress and joined the BJP last June, also got a ministerial post. Sangeeta Balwant Bind, Dharmavir Prajapati, Palturam, Chhatrapal Ganguly, Dinesh Khatik and Sanjay Gowda have been sworn in as ministers.
