Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Twin City Commissionerate Police on Thursday booked Patitapaban Prusty, the delivery boy, allegedly portraying his own kidnapping. Beside the girl who found with him said she had eloped with him and was not abducted by him.
Dhauli police brought the duo to Bhubaneswar from MadhyaPradesh and recorded their statement. During investigation, the police found CCTV footage which showed Patitapaban walking on road.
Police had seized his footwear, bag, wallet, T-shirt and a knife from the spot. Moreover, Patitapaban’s wife had received a voice message from him, in which he was heared saying that being abducted by four drunkards in an auto-rickshaw. However, police managed to track his mobile phone and traced him with the help of the Government Railway Police (GRP).
