Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reached Sundargarh district to distribute the Biju Health Welfare Scheme Smart Cards to the beneficiaries. Chief Minister also distributed Smart Card at the function held at the Rourkela IGH Super Specialty Hospital conference room.
The Chief Minister left the Rourkela Airport at 11 a.m. and arrived at the Super Specialty Hospital conference room at 11:05 p.m. The smart health card distributed at 11:28 p.m.
Arun Kumar Sahoo, the Minister for Higher Education and Agriculture in Balishankara block, Bikram Keshari Arukh, Minister for Forests and Environment in Banai block, Divyashkar Mishra, Minister for Industries, Energy and Home Affairs in Lahunipada block, Jagannath Sarka, Minister for tribal and caste development, Tourism and Culture Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi in Tangerpali block, Health Minister Nabkishore Das in Badgaon, Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari in Kutra, Commerce and Transport Minister Padmanabh Behera in Lathikata block, Handicrafts and Textiles Minister in Sundergarh municipality, Law Minister Pratap Jena, Skills Development Minister Premananda Nayak in the Koida block also distributed the Biju Health Welfare Card.
Notably, Biju Health Welfare Cards will be distributed to a total of 6,37,333 ration card holders in Sundergarh district. A total of 15,90,631 lakh beneficiaries in the district will get free health care from the card. In Rourkela, a total of 68,575 ration card holders will get Biju Health Smart Cards.
