Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Bollywood’s Bhaijaan Salman Khan is currently in Russia for the shooting of the film ‘Tiger3’. Along with Katrina Kaif, Salman will be seen in the lead role in the film. Salman Khan is also known for giving opportunities to other actors in the film. Once, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor got an offer to work with Salman Khan in the film. The Congress leader was offered the role of foreign minister in the film, but Shashi Tharoor refused to act.
Shashi Tharoor shared the story of Salman Khan in an interview in 2016. “I was offered a job as a director by Salman Khan,” he told host Janice Sikera. I have always loved these moments. The foreign minister was to play the role in the film but a friend of mine advised me that if you want to be a foreign minister, please do not play the role of a foreign minister. I thought he was right, so I stepped my foot back on him.”
Shashi Tharoor was also rumored to be seen in Salman Khan’s ‘Andaz Apna Apna’.
“I was not in that film,” Shashi Tharoor replied. At that time I was working for the United Nations. The person in the film was exactly look alike of him, who was a Gujarati actor. “After joining politics, I started getting offers for films,” he said. But I don’t understand why these offers didn’t come when I was young and beautiful.
