Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The newly inducted Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw and the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday kick started Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Odisha.
The program has been launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to launch the new central ministers to the people where as many as 31 newly inducted ministers in the Union Cabinet are taking part in the 142 day long outreach programme organized by the ruling party at the Centre.
As per the itinerary in Odisha, the two ministers will embark on the tour programme for three days till August 22 during which they are scheduled to travel a distance of around 419 kilometres across the State.
“Thank you to our party workers and the general public for welcoming and congratulating us after arriving at Bhubaneswar airport with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw,” tweeted Pradhan in Odia.
Similarly, Vaishnaw also tweeted in odia, “Dharmendra Pradhan and I arrived at Bhubaneswar Airport. Party workers warmly welcomed us today. We have a number of engagements in Bhubaneswar and Puri along with the darshan of Lord Jagannath.”
As per last reports, the Union ministers have travelled to Puri after landing at Bhubaneswar airport. They will pay obeisance to Lord Jagannath at Puri Srimandir during their halt at the pilgrim town.
Both the ministers are scheduled to attend as many as 115 events in six Lok Sabha constituencies under seven districts of the State during the three-day programme.
