Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Information and Public Relations (I&PR) department on Saturday informed that Odisha reported total 1,132 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the State Information & Public Relation Department, the fresh cases were detected from 29 districts, of which 657 were from different quarantine centres and 475 were the local contacts.
While the single-day cases are on decline in 29 districts, the Khordha district continues to register above 400 cases.
Today, the district reported the highest of 410 cases followed by Cuttack district with 197 cases.
Apart from Khordha and Cuttack, the daily cases in remaining all districts stood below 100.
