Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Information and Public Relations (I&PR) department on Friday reported as many as 1,193 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the caseload surged to 9,92,375.
As total 71,197 samples were tested in the state yesterday, the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 1.67%.
Of the fresh cases detected from 28 districts, 695 are quarantines cases and 498 local contact cases. Khordha district reported highest 425 fresh cases, followed by Cuttack (161) and Balasore (69). The state now has 10,809 active cases.
