Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Information and Public Relations (I&PR) department on Tuesday reported as many as 1,629 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, a total of 62,686 samples were tested in Odisha, on Monday.
The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 2.59 per cent.
According to reports, the Khurda district registered highest 532 fresh infections followed by Cuttack with 160 fresh infections and in Puri with 96 positive cases.
Along with this the positive tally in the state surged to 9,70,814 with 17,746 active cases.
