Paralakhemundi (SunstarTV Bureau): Overall twist to the mysterious death of Paralakhemundi Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra wife Bidya Bharati refuted all the allegations of murder charges by her in-laws and opened up about her late husband’s extra-marital relationships with other women.
Bidya Bharati in her ordeal said that, Soumya used to send ‘I Love You’ messages to other women over Whatsapp chat. However, after being caught red handed, he (Soumya) had changed the password of his mobile. Moreover, he the ACF officer had wiped off all the contact details, Whatsapp chats and call history, she said.
Besides, the widow also refuted charges regarding the agreement paper on property transfer. However, she also claimed about ignorant of the agreement that was allegedly made for the transfer of Soumya’s salary and properties. The police have seized the unsigned agreement paper and also another unsigned affidavit in which Soumya purportedly declared wife Bidya Bharati as the nominee of his property and salary if anything happened to him.
Besides, Soumya’s kin denied the extra-marital allegation charged by his widow wife Bidya. Moreover, they claimed that there were no such conflicts raised between them. Whatever was there had been solved, said Soumya’s mother Tulasi Mohapatra.
The Paralakhemundi police officials cross questioned Bidya Bharati and her family members along with Soumya’s family members on Monday as a part of the alleged murder probe.
Moreover, Soumya’s father Abhiram Mohapatra had met DGP Abhay on Monday and demanded polygraph test of his daughter-in-law Bidya Bharati, DFO Sangram Behera and cook Manmath Kambha. The trio has been named in the FIR based on which a murder case has been registered.
