Jagatsinghpur (SunstarTV Bureau): The two-member central team have reviewed the Covid situation in Jagatsinghpur district on Tuesday and informed that the current pandemic situation here is under control.
Along with the team Dr Shibani Dutta and Dr A Dan, the Odisha health official Dr Prashant Raghav Mahapatro and Jagatsinghpur Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) Dr Bijaya Panda, among others officials have visited the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) and reviewed the present situation.
Further they visited the vaccination and isolation centre at the district headquarters hospitals.
According to the Dr Shibani Dutta, the situation in Jagatsinghpur is under control now as the scenario reviewed a spontaneous positivity rate is declining.
A discussion was held with the Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) and other officials regarding their problems and also they appraised about the need of more specialized doctors for the medical, she said.
Besides, CDMO also assured the media above the declining stage of infection here and also appealed people to follow the COVID protocols.
Meanwhile, the duo members to further visit COVID hospital in Paradip today.
The central team on Monday had inspected the situation in various COVID hospitals of twin city Bhubaneswar. Further they held a meeting with top health officials of the state regarding issues.
