Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Odisha Government on Sunday has decided to give the additional charge of Women and Child Development (W&CD) Department on IAS officer Pramod Kumar Meherda.
Meherda, a 1997-batch IAS officer is presently the Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Governor, Odisha. He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary of W&CD Department in addition to his own duties.
The additional appointment of IAS officer Anu Garg as Principal Secretary of W&CD Department shall stand terminated from the date Meherda takes over.
