Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The first ever Annual convocation of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), Deemed to be University here on today, the Odisha Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal as a honorable chief guest has graced the ceremony.
On the special occasion Prof. has appealed the youth to immensely contribute for the self-reliant India story.
At the colloquium professor states that, “the youth has efficient talent all is required just an ideal environment, encouragement and timely exposure. The youth to be fixative for self reliant India and lift up the vocal for local campaign.”
The KIIT and KISS owner Shree Achyuta Samant was too appreciated for his good deeds implied to the well being of society by the governor.
Afterwards Shree Samanta then aggregated the longing effects of the kiss and manifested how it transferred tens of thousands of students and marked it as a milestone for social empowerment.
Then he also included the transformation of this gigantic institution and shy out how, once it initiated with just 125 students back in 1992-93. Then he added the achievement was beyond dream and really an inspiration for rest of others.
Then KISS institute’s Chancellor Mr. Satya S. Tripathy added the youth that they are post graduates now and humbled them to always applause the institution which is a pillar of kindness and humanity.
Moreover he hinted the students to kin in on the unconditional service and profuse humanity for a paramount society building.
The Pro-Chancellor Dr. Upendra Tripathi also lightened up the occasion lauding how the institute leads from the front and have shown a mirror to forth pledging others.
He further said the Institution will hold the flag for the decade to come with the legacy it holds and under a visionary leadership, potent scholars it will make up of in a global standard academy.
The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dipak kumar Behera said the kiss to be the only institution to immensely research the rooted society and adequately embrace social truisms.
Among others, Pro vice chancellor prof. Pitabasa Sahoo and Dr. Prasant Kumar Routray also congratulated to degree holders.
On the very occasion, prof. Ganeshi Lal was conford with honorary doctorate degree.
Besides, Girish Chandra Murmu, Hon. Swarup Ranjan Mishra and Mr. Bibhu Mohapatra were too conferd with honorable award.
Post graduate student of Tribal Resource Management School (batch 2019) Malho Mardi and School of Indigenous Knowledge of Science and Technology student Peasant Majhi (Batch 2020) were given gold medals.
Similarly, Chancellor and Vice Chancellor also distributed Gold medals to 14 students and Silver medals to other 14 students respectively.
