Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Once again, Odisha witnessing the sharp increase in COVID-19 cases during one day with 3,554 infections, informed the State Information and Public Relations department (I&PR) on Saturday.
Of new cases, 2028 were reported from different quarantine centres and 1526 were the local contacts.
Khordha district continued to stand in top place with 651 single-day cases followed by Cuttack district with 501 and Balasore district with 271 cases, the daily cases slightly dropped in Jajpur that reported 256 cases in last 24 hours.
