Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The daily Covid-19 cases in Odisha gradually dipped as reported, however, the deaths rate are continuously upsurging.
On Saturday, according to Information and Public Relations department (I&PR) issued notification, in the last 24 hours, Odisha recorded 4,852 new Covid-19 cases. Hereon, the positivity tally has surged to 8,47,313.
Despite dip in the new cases, the fatalities due to Covid-19 however continue to surge in the State. At least 47 patients undergoing treatment for Covid-19 have succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 3,257, a data shared by the Health Department said.
