Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Information and Public Relation department recorded as many as 6097 more covid positive cases during the last 24 hours. A total of 69638 samples were tested in the state, yesterday.
However, COVID-19 claimed 44 more lives in Odisha as the toll in the state mounted to 3167.
Khurda reported highest 1017 fresh cases, followed by Cuttack (647) and Jajpur (434).
With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state mounted to 837226 with 69333 active cases.
