Cuttack (SunstarTV Bureau): After being infected with deadly virus, the health condition of Dr. Debasis Panigrahi, the Director of Odisha Vigilance Directorate further deteriorated, informed sources.
Meanwhile, his treatment has been undergoing at a private COVID hospital in Cuttack since last week. However, he will be airlifted to Hyderabad today for better treatment facilities.
According to reports, Dr Panigrahi was admitted to the Ashwini COVID Hospital, Cuttack, on May 29. Two days after treatment at the hospital, his health condition deteriorated. He was in ICU and later put on a ventilator.
However, his oxygen level dipped continuously and he did not show any sign of improvement. On suggestion from the medical experts, it has been decided to shift him to a hospital in Hyderabad.
