Odisha records 7216 COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours

Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): In the last 24 hours, the Information and Public Relations Department (I&PR) has confirmed positive cases in state as many as 7,216 more persons taking the tally to 7,39,955.

Among the 30 districts cases, 4041 are quarantine cases and  3175 local contact cases. A total of 43,768 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

However, this time Cuttack records highest 1,091 cases followed by Khordha reported with 809 and Kendrapada with 487 positive cases.

With the fresh cases, the number of active cases in the state surged to 1,02,072.

The district wise cases are recorded as below:
