Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Amid the deadly pandemic, to review the current situation of the states ahead, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday to convene a virtual meeting with the Districts Magistrates (DM) of 10 states.
Meanwhile, the DMs of 10 states including Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Odisha, Kerala and Haryana will attend the meeting.
However, India reported 2,76,070 new COVID-19 cases, 3,69,077 discharges and 3,874 deaths in last 24 hrs, as per Health Ministry.
Notably, total cases recorded with 2,57,72,400, recovery rates at 2,23,55,440,
death toll surged to 2,87,122.
Currently the active cases reported with 31,29,878. The counting made on number of vaccinated people are 18,70,09,792.
