Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Regional Meteorological Centre here has predicted light to moderate rainfall for various districts in the State on Sunday.

As per Met department, one or two places in the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj are likely to receive rainfall today.

The rest of the districts are likely to witness relatively dry weather, the Met Centre informed through the forecast. A Yellow Warning for thunderstorms and lightning has been issued for the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur today.

The weather department has not issued any alerts for the State during the next 3 days however it has forecast light to moderate thundershower at various districts.

As per the bulletin by the IMD, a cyclonic circulation persists over central parts of Madhya Pradesh at 1.5 km above mean sea level.

It has predicted that a low pressure is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal towards the end of May.
