Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): After administering multiple Covid-19 cases in Odisha, the Odisha government has been decided to impose 7 days Lockdown in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and western districts from the next week.

According to Bijay Mohapatra, the director of health department in state, has informed that “the number of cases in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack is increasing because of the number of returnees from other places. One positive person infecting other persons. Hence the cases are increasing.”

Meanwhile, he said that the state government also monitoring the situation daily and accordingly increasing the number of beds and wherever it is required.

As well as nearby in Cuttack and western districts like Kalahandi, Nuapada, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundergarh and Nabarangpur seemd to be the only way out as weekend shutdown since last week has not helped in bringing down the TRP.

Earlier today the Health and Family Welfare Department has informed about the single day spike of Covid-19 cases has crossed 10,000 marks in the last 24 hours.
