Meanwhile, the current lockdown in Delhi has been extended by a week — till 5am, May 3 — as Covid-19 continues to ravage the city.
As many as 22,933 fresh cases were reported on Sunday against 24,103 on Saturday, but the positivity rate was still high at 30.2%.
The number of Covid tests has declined in the past few days and only 75,912 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours against 1,08,534 on April 14.
