New Delhi (SunstarTV Bureau): After the continues spike of corona cases along with the drastically raised in number of Covid patients, the national capital are out off ICU beds capacity in most of government hospitals and few private hospitals.
According to Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain due to the crisis of ICU beds the Centre have been urged to give 7000 beds in Central government-run hospitals.
“There is a crisis of ICU beds. We have made a request to the Centre, I think they will give us 700-800 ICU beds soon. We have demanded 7000 beds in Central government-run hospitals, they have given us around 2000,” informed Jain.
Notably, India reported over 3.14 lakh new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, the highest ever daily count recorded anywhere. 2,104 succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the health ministry.
