SunstarTV Bureau: In view of the spike in COVID-19 cases, the Ganjam administration has restricted the number of partakers in marriage related functions in the district to 100.

This apart, packaged foods will be provided to the guests during the wedding ceremony, an order of the district administration said.

“Any one found violating this order shall be punished under the provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 and other relevant laws,” the order added.

Earlier, wedding ceremony partakers were limited to 100 in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Nuapada district.
