SunstarTV Bureau: The Bhubanananda Orissa School of Engineering (BOSE) students expressed demurral demanding cancellation of the offline examination, scheduled to be held tomorrow, in apprehension of spread of the virus.
The students resorted to the protest on demand of scheduled exam to be held online as, three students from the educational institution contracted the virus recently.
Alleging negligence on the part of the college authorities, the students said in stead of ensuring COVID-19 test of all students, the college authorities are trying to suppress the matter.
Burning tyres ,holding placards, and shouting slogans, hundreds of students staged protest outside the campus. They also demanded sanitisation of the entire campus, including hostels, and COVID-19 test of all students.
