SunstarTV Bureau: The 1991-batch Odisha panel IAS officer Saurabh Garg, currently serves as Principal Secretary of Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, has been sent on central deputation and will serve as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
Besides, Odisha panel IAS officer Santosh Kumar Sarangi, Additional Secretary of the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, has been given additional charge of the post of Chairman, National Council for Teacher Education.
Odisha-born IES officer Chandrashekhar Mohapatra, who is currently posted as Additional Secretary of Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, has been posted as Additional Secretary, GST Council Secretariat, Department of Revenue.
The Appointment Committee of Cabinet has approved the postings.
