SunstarTV Bureau: Today while launching the ‘Mo College’ (my college) campaign and its portal on virtual mode the Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik stated the call is for graduates of the State to become a collaborative force in building up their institutions by creating a healthy learning atmosphere in colleges and universities. With the presence of other delicates,such as the Higher Education Minister Arun Kumar Sahoo, Chairman of ‘Mo College Abhijan’ Akash Dash Nayak, Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra, Development Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Jena and other senior Officers associated with the held program.
The Chief minister future stated that the decision to launch ‘Mo College’ campaign was taken looking at the success of the ‘Mo School’ programme. As many as 755 government colleges and universities will be part of campaign. Each grad can contribute up to Rs 50 lakh to each institution per year. . The non-alumni, philanthropist and charitable organization can be part of the campaign too.
Since , the campaign is based on principles of nation building, promoting creativity, skill development and nurturing team work the educational institutions are best place to enforce the campaign and corpus fund has also been constituted by the State government to support the campaign he added.
