Sunstartv (Bhubaneswar) : With an aim to encourage the efforts of business stalwarts of the state, ‘State Business Leadership Awards 2022’ was organized by India’s first interview- based magazine, The Interview Times, Bhubaneswar on March 5, 2022 at Hotel Mayfair Convention, Bhubaneswar. The event was inaugurated by his Excellency Prof. Ganeshi Lal (Honourable Governor Of Odisha). Sri Upendra Tripathy (IAS, Advisor (Education)) to Honourable Chief Minister of Odisha joined as chief guest and Justices Sanju Panda (First Women Acting Chief Justices), Padma Bibhusan Sudarshan Sahoo (Indian Sculpture) joined as distinguished guests. Sri Amitav Thakur (IG Operation), Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand (Resident Director, Vedant) joined as special guest of honour. Apart from that Dr. Harekrishna Satpathy (Former VC KISS, University) Keynote Speaker of the evening. A special video message by His Excellency Honourable Odisha Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal congratulating the efforts of the Interview Times was played at the event followed by the welcome address by Sj. Dibyajit Sahu, Group Editor, The Interview Times who spoke about the objective behind the event and ten years of journey of The Interview Times. After the initial meeting, an IT Business Roundtable themed, ‘Reigniting Odisha Growth’ ‘was organized on the occasion. Eminent speakers like Sanghamitra Pati (Director, ICMR), Manas Panda (Director, STPI), Manish Kharbanda (Group Advisor Legal, Sustainability & Corporate Affairs, JSPL), M. Sen Begum (CEO, Tata Power), Antony R Uvari (VC, XIMB), Sudhir Diggikar (Regional CEO Apollo Hospital), Dr. Umesh Jena (Adl. Director Mines) spoke regarding various developmental and transformative ideas that would trigger Odisha’s growth in the future. After the roundtable discussion, nearly 20 achievers in the fields of business were honoured with State Business Leadership Awards 2022, and Dr. Krupasindhu Panda (Panda Medical Centre), Mahendra Kumar Gupta (MD Gupta Power), S.P Mohanty (Chairman & Managing Director BVFC) honoured in Life Time Achievement Award for their continuous efforts and contribution towards the economic development of the state. Notably, the event is being held on the lines of 106 th Birth Anniversary of former Odisha CM and legendary leader Biju Patnaik who had always encouraged the business ecosystem during his heydays. The special edition of The Interview Times was also released by the guests. On this occasion Chairman Dr. Subhasish Das, organizations member Arun Kumar Mahana, Pramod Kumar Lenka and Chief Public Relation Officer Rajiv Nayan also present.
