SunstarTV Bureau:Kamala Kanta Dash, an assistant professor at the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) of Sri Sri University and the Director of its Climate Change and Sustainability Centre has received a letter of appreciation from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia for his valuable talk at an international webinar on the topic of Careers in Green Economy.
Writing the letter of appreciation, Prof Alan Davison, the Dean of Arts and Social Sciences at the UTS, thanked Prof Dash for providing both Indian and Asian perspectives into the increasing opportunities in green jobs. Prof Dash also highlighted his experience of teaching corporate environmental responsibility and sustainability for MBA students and how corporates are now increasingly keen to hire students with expertise in climate change and sustainability. He argued that at least 24 million direct jobs and several million more indirect jobs will be created by 2030 as companies and governments switch to the green economy.
Sri Sri University’s Vice-Chancellor Prof Ajay Kumar Singh and Dean of FMS Prof Usha Arora congratulated Prof Dash on receiving appreciation from Australia.
