SunstarTV Bureau: Once again been a slight decline in corona cases in India administered by the Health and Family Welfare Department so far today. A total of 18,132 corona cases have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. These are 0.2% less than the figures released yesterday i.e. on Sunday. In the last 215 days, these are the lowest cases of infection reported in a day. With this, the total cases of Covid-19 across the country have gone up to 3,39,71,607.
A total of 193 deaths have occurred in the country in the last one day due to the corona epidemic. However, there has been a decline of 3,624 active cases in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of active cases of Covid has come down to 2,27,347. So far, a total of 3,32,93,478 corona patients in the country have been cured by beating this epidemic.
According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry, the national rate of recovery of corona patients is 98%. Reportedly, Kerala has 10,691 cases in the top five states that have reported the most cases, followed by Maharashtra with 2,294 cases, Tamil Nadu with 1,329 cases, West Bengal with 760 cases and Odisha with 652 cases. 86.73% of the new cases have been reported from these five states, in which Kerala alone is responsible for 58.96% of the new cases. In 24 hours, maximum 85 people died in Kerala followed by 28 deaths in Maharashtra.

The number of patients under treatment in the country has also come down to 2,27,347, which is the lowest in 209 days. In the country for 17 consecutive days, less than 30 thousand new cases of Kovid-19 are being reported in a day and for 106 days, less than 50 thousand new cases are being reported.
According to the data released by ICMR, a total of 10,35,797 samples have been tested for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in the country. Apart from this, a total of 46,57,679 people have been given vaccine doses during this period, taking the total number of doses administered to 95,19,84,373.
