SunstarTV Bureau: In West Bengal politics voting for the by-elections in Bhabanipur will take place in just a few hours. The by-election rally has also completed on Monday. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is contesting from the seat while BJP leader Priyanka Tibrewal competing as a opposition.
Just before the election, a Twitter war in between two leading parties as BJP and TMC have started. Rumors are now circulating that Bengali film actress and BJP MP Loket Chatterjee will join the Trinath Congress. This is speculated on the use of words between BJP leader Locket Chatterjee and TMC spokesman Kunal Ghosh on Twitter. Bengal Transport Minister Firhad Hakim also said three days ago that ‘a leading BJP leader is getting ready to join the Trinamool Congress in the near future. In a few days, the BJP will be in disarray in Bengal. ‘
However, Hakim did not mention that which senior BJP leader would join the TMC. But now, after Kunal Ghosh’s tweet, rumors are rife again. Ghosh tweeted, “Thanks and congrats ‘star campaigner’ @me_locket for not campaigning at Bhabanipur. Inspite of many requests from BJP U hvn’t come. As a friend wish your success wherever u r. World is too small. Hope those days will return again when u started your political innings.”

BJP leader Locket Chatterjee retweeted Kunal Ghosh’s tweet, saying, “We need to make sure that Mamata Banerjee does not lose from Bhabanipur.”

However, no information has been provided by BJP leader Locket Chatterjee. If Kunal Ghosh’s guess is correct, Locket Chatterjee will return to TMC after Babul Supriyo. This will be a major blow to the BJP in Bengal.
