Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): As an identity of Odisha’s art, culture and tradition the Nuakhai celebration is going on. And today on this very auspicious occasion the Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik tweeted and greeted the people of Odisha.
“I pray to Maa Samaleswari that may you all have a happy and prosperous life,” said Patnaik in a video message shared on his Twitter handle.
He also appealed to the people to follow COVID Appropriate Behaviour while celebrating the festival.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his wishes to the people of the state on Nuakhai. He took to Twitter and wrote both in Odia and English to convey his wishes.

“Nuakhai Juhar! Greetings to everyone on this auspicious occasion. On Nuakhai we laud the outstanding efforts of our industrious farmers and their role in nation building. I pray for everyone’s good health and well being,” he tweeted.
