Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday informed about the cyclonic circulation over Easternal Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood forming a low pressure area over the Eastcentral and adjoining northeast Bay of Bengal.
During the next 48 hours, the cyclonic circulation likely to move westnorthwestwards and concentrate into a depression. However, the second low-pressure possibly to bring heavy rainfall for Odisha, informed IMD.
Due to formation of low pressure over the Bay of Bengal, squally weather with wind speed reaching 45-55kmph Gusting 65 kmph likely over west central Bay of Bengal along and off Odisha coast from today till September 14.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Jharsuguda and Sundargarh during next two days.
According to Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at a few places with extremely heavy falls at one or two places over the districts of Balangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Angul, Sambalpur, Bargarh and Deogarh between September 13 and 14.
