Jajpur (SunstarTV Bureau): Before Panchayat Election, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) held on Sunday the amalgamation ceremony in Jajpur. Many young men, women from Similia Panchayat have joined the Biju Janata Dal.
Jajpur MLA and BJD organizing secretary Pranab Prakash Das encouraged the workers by attending the amalgamation ceremony.
The legislator said further steps would be taken to improve the panchayat and make mothers more self-sufficient. A bridge will be built in the area. So that people can survive by the floods. It has been decided to build the bridge from Sathiatikiri to Jajpur main road.
The amalgamation ceremony was attended by Bhavprasad Das, former mayor of Jajpur BJD, and senior activists of local sarpanch Paresh Bishwal. The discussion was held on how to strengthen the party in the coming days and how to win the leadership in the panchayat elections. Hundreds of activists from other parties have joined the Biju Janata Party, which will strengthen the party, the senior leader said.
