Rourkela (SunstarTV Bureau): For a better security purpose to railway passengers and to ensure safety of railway properties, on Wednesday the Railway Protection Force (RPF) reviewed the situation at Rourkela station and adjacent areas by flowing drones.
According to sources, a special team of RPF reviewed the rail track condition as well from Phatapipe to Malgodown stretch of Howrah-Mumbai route with the help of drones.
After commencing the one and half hours, the RPF said that the drones will also help strengthening the security arrangement at stations and thereby to curb the criminal nuances activities.
Reportedly, trains pass through infested areas of Chakradharpur railway division, drones will help the RPF evade possible damage to railway properties or attack on trains.
