Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): Earlier, the Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan urges Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik seeking his intervention for immediate declaration of results of Undergraduate (UG) students in the state and issuance of provisional final year/semester results or marksheets.
Meanwhile, Dr. Arun Kumar Sahoo, the Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment Fisheries & Animal Resources Development and Higher Education Odisha replied back to Pradhan in details today.
The notification reads that, “For ensuring a uniform academic calender in the entire country in view of the Covid-19 related dislocation, UGC had issued a guidelines in July 2021.”
It further reads that “as per the above mentioned UGC guidelines, admission to PG courses should be completed by 30.9.2021, the Central Universities should have given time upto end of September 2021 for applicant – students to submit their UG Final Year/ Final Semester results/ mark sheets.”
Sahoo also requested Dharmendra Pradhan to instruct Central Universities to provide time upto end of September’ 2021 for the applicant-students to submit their UG Final Year/Final Semester results/mark sheets so that no meritorious student, whether from Odisha or elsewhere, debarred from taking admission in Central Universities.
